This Privacy Policy explains how The iPac Services LLP (“The iPACS”, “we”) collects, uses and protects personal information when you use theipacs.com, contact us or apply for a role. We follow applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
1. Information we collect
- Contact form: your name, verified email address, company, project details and any budget information you choose to share.
- Job and internship applications: your name, verified email, optional phone number, city, portfolio or LinkedIn link, availability, your message and the CV you upload.
- Email verification: your email address, used to send a one-time code. Codes expire after 15 minutes and are not stored in a database.
- Technical data: standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages visited) kept by our hosting provider for security and performance.
2. How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and provide quotations or services.
- To review applications and contact shortlisted candidates.
- To verify that submissions come from a real email owner and prevent spam.
- To keep the Website secure and working properly.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
3. Legal basis and consent
We process your information with your consent when you submit a form, and where necessary to respond to your request or perform a contract with you. You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to us.
4. How your data is handled
Form submissions and CVs are sent by encrypted email to our business mailbox (info@theipacs.com), hosted with Zoho Mail. CVs are not stored on the Website itself. The Website is hosted on Vercel. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
5. Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate (such as email and hosting), or where required by law.
6. Retention
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to respond and maintain business records. Applications and CVs are kept for up to 12 months so we can consider you for future roles, unless you ask us to delete them earlier.
7. Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to withdraw consent, by emailing info@theipacs.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.
8. Cookies
The Website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may use strictly necessary technical cookies or logs to deliver the site securely.
9. Security
We use HTTPS across the Website, verify email addresses before accepting submissions, and limit access to submissions to authorised team members. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
10. Children
The Website is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
11. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
